The most scenic way to get from San Miguel to the canyon! During the extended boat ride you will have the chance to visit a 400 year old chapel, formerly part of the Hacienda Agustin Gonzalez, submerged by the lake and even climb up on the steeple! The reservoir is host to a number of migratory birds, and the locals can be rather stunning as well. On and around the lake, birders will find great kiskadee, black phoebe, vermilion flycatcher, least grebe and snowy egret, among many others.
