Of the activities that we manage, the one that kids tend to enjoy the most is the full day horseback riding excursion. It takes approximately 8 hours departing from San Miguel at 9am. It includes 4-5 hours of horseback riding time (with rest stops), transportation, breakfast,  hiking, swimming, roping lessons, cattle-herding, a campfire meal and rappelling (optional). This is a great family oriented adventure that I'm sure will be a very special experience for everyone. We surely can adapt the activities and/or the itinerary on horseback to fulfill every group's expectations.

We will start the excursion visiting a ranch and learning about daily activities such as hand-made tortillas and traditional Mexican sauces making. We will search for eggs for our breakfast and after having breakfast we will take you to Boca de la Cañada community where the horseback riding adventure will start   

Also included in this adventure are activities like hiking, swimming, roping lessons and a delicious campfire meal prepared by the cowboys on the trail. This is a great family oriented adventure that is a very special experience for everyone.

No riding experience is necessary to participate in our horseback adventures. Our horses are the most well tamed that you can hope to find anywhere in the world. Clients will receive a comprehensive introduction to horseback riding along with the proper security measures to ensure both a safe and exciting ride. Kids will be properly secured to their horses with a special harness and we will provide helmets upon request.
