Our adventure begins by picking you up at our offices in downtown San Miguel de Allende and driving you out to our ranch located in Boca de la Cañada. There we will begin our hike at the mouth of the canyon, following the river for a short while until we reach the beginning of our ascent. We will initiate our steady climb to the top of the canyon, which takes approximately 1hr, once we reach the top, we’ll head into a few valleys. We will make one last climb to reach our break where you can take in the beautiful scenery before we begin our descent back to the base of the canyon. We will once again reach the river, which we must cross on various occasions as we near the end of our adventure, so be sure to bring shoes you don’t mind getting wet!

Once we return to Boca de la Cañada we will be greeted with a delicious traditional ranch style meal prepared fresh at one of the homesteads. You will be served fresh cheese made that very morning, organic beans, quesadillas, nopales (cactus), freshly made tortillas, rice, salad, potato with egg, guacamole and salsas.
